Are their any plans to campaign for the actors and the show one last time during the next awards season? [Jim]
A: No. But after the next round of nominations are announced, I plan to offer another round of snide remarks as to the
meaninglessness of awards. You just saw me argue that the Pulitzer-sniffing in journalism has diminished the craft.
Do you really think I'm going to lobby someone for a Hollywood trinket? I may be the angriest man in television, but
I'm not a hypocrite.
That said, a lot of our cast is entirely deserving. But Snoop said something about deserving, I think. Clint
Eastwood, too, for that matter.
Q: What did Clarke Peters say when he found out that Wendy Grantham would reprise her role as Shardene in the finale? [Jim]
A: He smiled. Yes, he did.
Q: You said you would tie up all the loose ends. Whatever happened to Valchek's surveillance van? [Jim]
A: I believe our head teamster, Foard Wilgus, used it to rob several liquor stores between seasons two and three
and it was then sent to a chop-shop and sold for parts. The profits from such purchased several racehorses, one of
which was named Maryland Horse of The Year. Mr. Wilgus can now buy and sell me, several times over.
