JK: Your partnership is legendary since the "fuck" scene in season 1.WP: That scene is one of my favorite scenes of all time.
JK: What do you remember about that day?
WP: I was actually terrified of that scene. David took the time to explain what was going to happen. (Wendell explains the scene in detail.) That's the classic acting exercise. It's one of the moments I'm proudest of.
JK: Dominic thought it was funny.
WP: I was terrified, then nervous, but after shooting it for a while, I thought, "Let's have fun with this." There's one thing they cut that I wished they had left in. At the end of the scene, the super says, "Oh, fuck!" I thought that was priceless, but they cut it.
JK: Have you seen the final script?
WP: I have not seen the final scripts at all. I get the scripts just a day or two before we start shooting. The scene today would have really ruined it for you, so that's why you had to wait downstairs. A "Rosebud" kinda thing, you know.
